Lockdown Extended in Containment Zones till JUNE 30

The nationwide lockdown has been extended in containment zones till June 30, while prohibited activities will reopen in a step by step manner in areas outside the containment zones, as the government has announced. The order said there will be strict enforcement of lockdown in containment zones.
In Phase l, the order said, religious places and places for worship for public, hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls will be permitted to open from June 8.
In Phase ll, schools, colleges, etc will be opened. Based on the feedback a decision on the re-opening of these institutions will be taken in the month of July 2020. Only a short number of activities will remain proscribed throughout the country. They are International air travel passengers, work of metro rail, cinema halls, swimming, pools, theatres, bars, and similar places.
In Phase lll, dates for their opening will be decided based on the situation. They also ordered that no e-pass will be required anymore for inter-state travel. Also, no separate permission, document, or e-permit will be required.
