CBSE Announces Date Sheet for Class 10 and 12 | List of Precautions | Covid-19 Guidelines | The National TV

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines and date sheet for the remaining exams of class 10 and 12 on Monday. Class 10 exams will be conducted only in North-East Delhi as they were postponed due to riots in the area in February. However, exams for class 12 will be held all over the country.
According to the date sheet, the exams of class 12 will start from July 1 and go on until July 13 and the exams for class 10 in the North East Delhi region will be conducted between July 3 and July 5. The timing for the exams will be from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal made this announcement with a series of tweets on Monday. The CBSE’s official website lists the dates of all the exams scheduled for both class 10 in North East Delhi and class 12 in all over India.
The exams will now be taken up with full precautions and mandatory use of sanitizers and masks. Following are the precautions that have been made compulsory for the students:
- Wearing a mask, covering nose and mouth all times
- Proper social distancing from other students and staff
- One must bring own sanitizer in a transparent bottle
- Only half students will be seated in a room, i.e. only 12 students will be seated in a room meant for 24 to ensure proper social distancing
Along with these guidelines, there will be no thermal screening of students at the centre. However, the parents must convey to the school if their child is sick. The parents must also give instructions to take necessary precautions and ask their kids to maintain social distance.
