Pua Magasiva Found Dead Aged 38; Power Rangers Ninja Storm Star

Actor Pua Magasiva; commonly known for his roles in the Power Rangers Ninja Storm series and the New Zealand medical drama Shortland Street. He was found dead in Wellington, New Zealand in the early hours of Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was just 38 year old. His body was found at his Wellington home on Saturday. Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances. .
A South Pacific Pictures spokesperson has confirmed Pua’s death to the New Zealand Herald. Although they does not added any further comments. Pua Magasiva was born in Samoa but was raised in New Zealand. His brother Robbie Magasiva is also an actor. Pua was popular for playing Red Wind Ranger Shane Clarke in Power Rangers Ninja Storm, the eleventh season in the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Ninpū Sentai Hurricaneger series in Japan. The show was broadcasted in 2003. He also starred in New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street; played the role of Vinnie Kruse in series from 2003 to 2006 and from 2011 to 2018. Pua was also a breakfast show co-host on the New Zealand radio station Flava.
Pua Magasiva had just celebrated his first wedding anniversary with wife Lizz Sadler. The couple married in April last year, after 18 months of meeting on Instagram. Magasiva also leaves behind a young daughter from his previous marriage.
